PS: I should clarify - when I say "a million parts to clean" that is in reference to the Jack LaLanne jucier I have. I think the Champion juicer is probably a lot easier to clean.

Hi, Jungleen,

It's not hard to juice and do the clean up. Very very easy, esp. compared to juicing with an electric machine (a million parts to clean).

I have not tried growing it yet -- it would be a bit cheaper but a lot more work to grow it. (And we are doing enough work already what with homemade formula and all the rest of it.) You have to first sprout the wheat berries, which takes a few days, then you plant them in trays of dirt and you have to water them. Kind of a lot of work. I think it might be easier just to buy the trays of pre-grown grass.

I went and bought trays of wheat grass at Rainbow Acres today. Seth is drinking 3-4 oz per day. I drink 1 oz per day. We go through 1 tray every 2 days.

The trays cost $11 at RA -- and $8 at the FM. They say they will keep up to a week. You have to water them 2-3 times per day. Best not to keep them in sun -- they said to keep them in a shady spot.

So if you only use 1-2 oz per day, you could get by with one tray per week (since you can get about 10-12 oz per tray).

Anyway you just need a spot to keep your tray. The juicing and clean up is easy. It only takes like 15 mins to do the juicing and the clean up.

Hope that helps -- let me know if you have other questions.

Ann Marie,
Let me know how hard (or easy) it is to grow and juice up the wheat grass everyday. If its manageable, I may try doing it! How long does it take to juice it up? How is clean up?

Hi, Anna!

That is great that you are starting on Iodoral and maca! As you know (broken record), I think everyone should take Iodoral. :-)

And my experience with maca has been just amazing.
