Or is it possible that cholesterol is actually good for you?

Former vegetarian (read about his experience with vegetarianism here) and really smart guy, Chris Masterjohn will be on Sean Croxton’s Underground Wellness radio show tonight at 8 pm EST. That’s 7 PM CST, 6 PM MST, and 5 pm PST.

Chris is currently pursuing a PhD in Nutritional Sciences with a concentration in Biochemical and Molecular Nutrition at the University of Connecticut.

    So Cool!

I’ve had difficulty with too-low cholesterol. Been as low as 142! I now have it stabilized between 160-170, which is just barely into the safe range for women of child-bearing years.

Yes I don’t think it’s a coincidence that we’ve all been following a low fat diet for a few decades now and more and more women are having fertility issues. I’m glad you are eating more good fat, Anna! Keep it up! :-D

Me too. I’ve had it as low as 80! Usually it hovers around 130 though.

Most recently though, I did get it up to 178 after adding a gob of saturated fat to my diet.

My cholesterol has been the perfect levels for over a year now with a diet that consists of good saturated fats. Its difficult when you hear so much conflicting information though.
