I love podcasts! I like to listen on my computer while I’m working — or download them onto my iPod and listen while I’m driving or cooking or working out at the gym.
I also love Sally Fallon Morell. Author of Nourishing Traditions and Eat Fat, Lose Fat: The Healthy Alternative to Trans Fats (co-authored with Mary Enig) and President of the Weston A. Price Foundation.
Jon and Cathy Payne from Atlanta, Georgia host a wonderful weekly radio show via podcast called Our Natural Life. (You can subscribe on iTunes — just search for Our Natural Life.)
This past week Jon and Cathy aired two very interesting interviews with Sally Fallon Morell.
In the first podcast, Sally tells the story of how she discovered the work of Dr. Weston Price, how it impacted her life, and how she was inspired to write the immensely popular cookbook,
Nourishing Traditions (Amazon sales rank: 294 in books), and how she started the Weston A. Price Foundation.
In the second podcast, Cathy continues her conversation with Sally Fallon Morrell, founder and president of the Weston A. Price Foundation. We hear about benefits of membership, the upcoming conference, and resources from her publishing company, New Trends Publishing. She also talks about the dangers of GMOs, why it’s not more eco-friendly to be a vegetarian, and shares her dream of the United States becoming more like France with regional, local food.

Yes, I’m going, and so is Kelly the Kitchen Kop and Katie of the Team Bettendorf blog — two very funny, wise and wonderful women! If you’re planning on going, please comment below. We’d love to meet you all there!
Speaking of Kelly the Kitchen Kop, today is the Kelly the Kitchen Kop blog carnival. Be sure to visit Kelly the Kitchen Kop and go post a link to your blog or share a comment about real food.
