I’ve got another great holiday giveaway for you today. Julie from Cultures for Health is giving away an Excalibur 4-Tray Dehydrator! The retail value is $120 (actually it’s worth more than that because Julie is throwing in free shipping).

I personally have the 9-tray and I LOVE it. If you have a small family, you may be able to get by with the 4-tray. But I prefer more trays so I can do large batches of soaked nuts or grains at a time… and I love having lots of room in there so I can take out some of the trays and be drying something on a tray while at the same time I am letting bread rise or making yogurt. And the bigger ones with more trays don’t take up any more room on your counter.

Wow! This sounds like an amazing kitchen tool. I especially like the idea of soaking in it – our kitchen gets pretty cold in the winter and I wonder about the efficacy of my oat soaking
