Welcome to Real Food Wednesday!

Head over to Kelly the Kitchen Kop and check out her post about dinner at her favorite local restaurant.
My post this week is a real life example of how eating traditional foods can be done on a budget and how profoundly it impacts our families’ health. In Paula of Guadalajara, Mexico: A Testament to Dr. Weston Price, I talk about meeting a lady on the airplane who told me her story. It’s very affirming. Lots of great comments on that post, too.
Don’t forget — Kelly is hosting Real Food Wednesday next week!

Great to have this carnival back after the holidays! I’m posting about a delicious crepe dish that has spinach, kefir cheese and chicken livers. It is wonderful and a great way to start adding organ meats to your diet.

I love pasta, even though it uses a ton of flour. I’ve always enjoyed making my own for a variety of reasons, but it has always been a chore…
However I finally got a fabulous pasta roller which simplifies the process immensely! Using fresh, local eggs and locally grown wheat flour I made spaghetti that was to die for which I then drowned in home made red sauce.
