My Favorite Christmas Gift

Of all the wonderful gifts I received this Christmas (and there were many), this was my favorite. And it wasn’t even a gift for me. In fact, I helped pay for it.

We bought the Learning Tower for Kate this Christmas. It’s a glorified step-stool we keep in the kitchen.

She can crawl up into it all by herself.

She can play in the sink or at the counter with no fear of falling.

And I can cook for a long time, without having to run and look for her, or worry about where she might be or what she might be doing.

She loves it, but I love it even more.

Thanks, Santa. ;-)

I’m so glad you and Kate are loving The Learning Tower! I work on the marketing for the tower with the parent company, Little Partners. I just wanted to say thank you for posting! Your photos are great =)

Happy New Year and happy learning!

Oh I just love this. My youngest is probably to old for this now but I wish I had seen one of these…but here in hicksville (Australia) it takes a while before we get stuff. Lol :) It is such a wonderful idea, I have always used chairs and tried to box them in the corner by the counter so they couldnt fall out…they love washing dishes and cooking…especially coconut or sourdough pancakes.

Oh how nice! I love those and wish I had one! I can never justify the price though, Kate looks like she is really enjoying it :)

Erica –

She LOVES it. Makes her feel like a big girl — and she gets to play while Mommy cooks.

I bought it because a friend of ours (a member of our local Weston A. Price chapter) told me that the Learning Tower is the BEST thing he and his wife ever bought for their toddler. I am so glad we got it! Especially considering the amount of time I spend in the kitchen!

Hi there,
Adam is helping me too….He is standing on a step chair to cook soup with my mom’s own dehydrated soup mixes from Turkey. And you know what , every time he makes the soup and stirs he smells the wonderful aroma of it and eats twice as much because ADAM MADE IT !! I think that tower is a-ma-zingggg…
Love, Ebru

That’s really nice. I love the photos! And I think you are right to justify it because of how much time you spend in the kitchen.

Hi, Devin! Thanks for posting a comment. We are *thrilled* with the Learning Tower. We got some of the accessories too and look forward to playing with those.

I love that you have one of these – I’m so jealous. My two year-old son constantly wants to spend time with me in the kitchen, but just winds up in my feet or sitting perched precariously on a counter top. Unfortunately, our 1958 kitchen has zero space for one of these. I wish they offered a collapsible version!
