It’s starting to feel like fall in Los Angeles — the air is chilly and I’m craving soup! While I still have on flip flops, I’m wearing long pants and sweaters.

I thought I’d share some fall recipes and other real food links from around the web that I’ve enjoyed recently.

I plan to do this as a regular weekly feature (or, ahem bi-weekly — I’ll do my best).

What could be better in fall than Butternut Squash Soup? Here’s a recipe at Health, Home & Happiness.

These Asian Lettuce Wraps at Divine Health look to die for!

This Minestrone Soup looks wonderful — at the Nourishing Cook blog.

A delicious grain-free, dairy-free dessert: SCD Pumpkin Pie Pudding at Kat’s Food Blog.

And finally, I loved this post at The Nourished Life about foods that affect thyroid health.

Greeting from a fellow Cheeseslave who also craves soups in the Autumn :)

One of my must have soups at this time is Lentil Soup, there are hundreds of recipees but make sure to choose one with Chorizo and lots of Chicken Broth & a little Red wine too! With some orange carrots glowing throught different colored lentils it makes a pretty dish too!

Even though it’s humid and due to hit the low 80s here (whee, Indian summer in New England) I want soup too! Time to hunt for some new recipes. I’d do beans but can’t in my house right now due to one person on ultra-low carb.

These recipes are great! It’ll be nice when the temperatures in Georgia FINALLY get cooler later this weekend. It has been low 90’s for the past two and a half weeks and ready for the fall temps to be here!

Oh man, I live in AZ and it’s still over 100! But I still somehow know that it’s fall, because I crave soups anyway. As soon as October hits, I’m doing it.
