It’s been over a month now since I’ve had a cup of coffee — and I haven’t had a single craving. Moreover, I’m feeling happier, with more energy, and the quality of my sleep has vastly improved. Best of all, I don’t need coffee anymore. This is nothing short of a miracle for me. I’m the biggest coffee addict who ever lived! I’ve been drinking coffee since I was 16 years old. I’ve tried to quit coffee many times throughout the years, but I could never make it stick.
Why? Because caffeine is a highly addictive drug.

Almost every Saturday Kate and I go to the farmer’s market in Santa Monica and eat raw oysters on the half shell. The oysters from Carlsbad Aquafarm are so fresh (just harvested a few hours before) and unbelievably delicious. We are so lucky to live in Los Angeles and be able to eat fresh oysters for breakfast at the farmer’s market.
