Here’s a video excerpt from Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride’s lecture about GAPS, the Gut and Psychology Syndrome at the WAPF Wise Traditions 2008 conference in San Francisco.
Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride successfully treated her own son, who was diagnosed autistic, which prompted an intensive study into causes and treatments of autism. It was during this [...]

Coconut flour pancakes

OK I’m really and officially off the Intro Diet now. I ate a salad (raw vegetables) and I had coconut milk and coconut flour. I know, I know, I’m not supposed to start introducing all of this stuff all at once. You are supposed to introduce one new thing at a time.
But I just [...]

I tried making almond milk today. It came out great. And it did help my coffee taste better.

I’ve been posting for a few months about how I’ve been sneezing. I was so stuffed up, it was keeping me up at night.
I [...]

Constipation

Last night we were busy and we were both craving pizza. We haven’t ordered a pizza in a long, long time. It sounded so good to us.
Today I am paying the price. Not to be indelicate… Let’s just say my daily constitutional was not forthcoming.
I’m also very groggy, I’m sneezing, and I have post-nasal drip.
And [...]

We’ve been wavering from the GAPS diet lately — and pretty much just eating a Nourishing Traditions diet. Dr. Cowan told us that we may only have to do GAPS for a few months. And it’s been a few months. I think we’ve been doing GAPS for almost 4 months now.
In the past few weeks, [...]

He is now in a regular school and is completely functional.
Dr. Campbell [...]
