Is healing autism possible? Many people say yes.
The GAPS diet is a grain-free, sugar-free, starch-free diet designed to heal the gut. It was created by Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride, a pediatrician and neurologist living in England. Here is the recipe for the GAPS Almond Bread from Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride’s book, “Gut and Psychology Syndrome”. This bread is really easy to make. Tonight I’m going to make some more to go with the butternut squash soup I’m making — and serve it with butter and roasted bone marrow. Either that or homemade [...]

“Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.” — Plato Sometimes terrible things happen in life that make no sense. No matter how hard we try, we can’t find meaning. My family has been going through some very tough times lately. But no matter how bad you think things are in your [...]

This came out absolutely delicious. I started with a recipe from my friend Jungleen. She posted a comment a few days ago with a recipe for Chicken Cacciatore. It’s basically chicken cooked in homemade chicken stock and tomato sauce. I left out the vegetables and added arrowroot to make a thicker sauce. Then served it [...]
