Ayala’s Herbal Water is hands down the best tasting water I’ve ever had. ‘ve never tasted anything remotely like this water. It’s like drinking tea or wine: very flavorful and multifaceted.

At the same time, it’s very subtle. Ayala’s Herbal Water doesn’t knock you over with heavy-handed flavors, nor is it sweetened like most flavored waters on the market.

Best of Expo West: Bare Fruit Snacks

I took home some samples of Bare Fruit Snacks from Expo West and I have to say, they are really delicious. What’s in them? Just organic fruit, dried in an oven. Nothing else.

The problem with a lot of dried fruit out there is it’s not organic and/or it’s got added sugar, oils, and other additives. Much of the dried fruit you’ll find in stores also has added sulfites.

I visited the Gold Mine Natural Food booth at Expo West on Saturday to find something exceptionally thrilling: freeze-dried natto. Natto is a form of Japanese fermented soybeans. Natto is unique in that it contains extremely high amounts of vitamin K2.

Natural Products Expo West Conference Anaheim 2009

I spent the weekend in Anaheim at the Natural Products Expo West Conference, the world’s premier trade show for natural, organic and healthy products. Attendance was predicted to be around 50,000 industry professionals. They had around 3,000 exhibitors. Yeah, it was BIG.

I just wanted to write a quick post to let you know why I have been a little sporadic about posting. And why I haven’t been as good about responding to emails and comments (just in case you’ve commented or emailed and have been wondering why you haven’t heard from me).

As I told a friend recently, I’ve been busier than a one-legged man in an a** kicking contest. Turns out launching a blog network takes some time and effort.
