Fitness trainer Kevin Brown and nutritionist Annette Presley have written a new book called The Liberation Diet about how to lose weight and get healthy eating real food. I’ve read the book and I love it. It’s full of great information on how to eat healthfully and get slim and real-life testimonials by people who have followed the program and dropped excess weight. And not with soy shakes, rice cakes or processed TV dinners. This eating plan prescribes real butter, bacon, cheese, and burgers. Now that’s my kind of diet!

For years, I drank 2% milk. Just regular old milk from the supermarket. We are lucky in California. Unlike some states in this country, raw milk is legal here. We can buy it at Whole Foods and other health food stores.
